Happy Wheels has just been released, coinciding with the heartbreaking and blasphemous loss of Flash. It was truly a tense moment. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We hope that the anxiety over losing Happy Wheels hasn't disturbed your sleep. If you weren’t aware that this game was in development, here’s some exciting news: this is the game's first public release. Please bear with us as we work to fix any remaining bugs. Although I still prefer the Flash version, what I appreciate about this new version is its excellent performance on mobile devices. Currently, however, there are no on-screen controls for mobile play—that feature will be added in the next update. Thank you for your patience. In the meantime, if you’re eager to try it on your phone, a Bluetooth keyboard works perfectly. While I initially stated that the game runs at 60 frames per second, some of the more challenging levels tend to run slower at that rate. Fortunately, there’s already an option to adjust the frame rate, and I’m considering hosting a separate version at 60 Hz for users with high-end CPUs. The rest of Happy Wheels JS aims to faithfully replicate the original’s design and gameplay. The database of users, levels, and replays remains unchanged since the initial release. The only thing that has vanished is the universe’s impending doom. Use the arrow keys to move left and right, and press the spacebar to jump.
